What is Reiki?
Reiki is for everyone. It is a wonderful modality to learn to have the ability to self-heal and to help friends and family. It is 'first aid on the go'. You can Reiki people, plants, and pets. It is gentle enough to use on infants and the elderly or those who are frail and sick. It is a wonderful substitute for those who cannot have the body manipulation present in massage or other forms of healing.
Children respond remarkably well to Reiki. It helps alleviate the pain of labour and delivery and can soothe a crying baby.
There is nothing more valuable and self empowering than having a tool you can use to help you in your own healing. If you are already in perfect health, Reiki helps you stay balanced and full of vital energy. Reiki successfully treats minor ailments from bee stings to headaches and stress, as well as more serious diseases such as cancer, MS, arthritis, and diabetes.
It does not interfere with medications or medical disorders, or other forms of treatment. It is not a substitute for a medical diagnosis but it can certainly help you heal a lot faster and with a lot less pain.
Learning Reiki is an investment in yourself, your health and wellbeing, and your future.
I teach Reiki classes on an ongoing basis. They are usually on weekends however I can teach them on days or evenings during the week and am willing to travel to your location if you have a group that would like to learn reiki.

Certified Gendai Reikiho Classes

Gendai Reiki focuses on getting back to the 'roots' of Reiki, the original Japanese teachings and Reiki as a process to improving the quality of life~ to become healthy and happy.
Level 1(Shoden) ~ The channel of Reiki is opened and you begin to practice hands on healing on yourself and those around you
Level 2(Okuden) ~ The symbols are taught and used so that advanced healing can be practiced on many people
Level 3(Shinpiden) ~ The stage where you study the way to attain true happiness(a rich and peaceful state of mind) through Usui Sensei's teachings
Level 4 Master/Teacher Level(Gokuiden) ~ The stage where you keep practicing while you support those who ask to improve the quality of their lives.
Certified Komyo Reiki Kai Classes(as taught to me by the founder Hyakuten Inamoto Sensei)
Level 1 (Shoden) ~ you learn basic knowledge about Reiki and a hands on healing art. You will receive a series of Reju(attunements) to empower you to be a Reiki channel.
Level 2 (Chuden) ~ you will receive Reju(attunements) and you will receive 3 shirushi(symbols) to allow you to channel more energy and do distance healings.
Level 3 (Okuden) ~ you will receive Reju (attunements) and then be given the fourth shirushi(symbol. You will learn to culvitate
and uplift your spirituality and to tread on a path to self-realization, or Satori(Enlightenment)
Level 4 (Shinpiden) ~ the teaching degree of Komyo Reiki. You will learn how to teach and pass on this healing art.
Certified Karuna Reiki Classes(as taught to me by the founder William Rand)
Karuna is a sanskrit word translated to mean "to take compassionate action to diminish the suffering of others". As we become enlightened, we recognize that we are all one and all connected to one another. As we extend compassionate action to our fellow human beings that may be suffering, we in turn extend compassionate action to ourself. As we help and honour others in their healing process, all beings benefit. It is stated in the Buddhist literature that Karuna must be accompanied by parjna or wisdom in order to have the right effect. The spirit of Karuna implies that we use wisdom to guide us in accepting the energy to heal ourselves as well as others. Karuna can be likened to the motivating quality of all enlightened beings who are working to end the suffering of all humanity. As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are you helping others, but you will become more receptive to its healing energies and therefore your personal healing will be accelerated. Karuna Reiki® works deeply to clear karmic patterns and issues and opens you up to work more closely with all enlightened beings. This includes those enlightened ones who are physically present as well as those in spirit.
There is more than one healing energy in this world and Karuna® is but another that intensifies what we already know. This class is for anyone who has had Reiki Master training. It is complete with two levels, two attunements, one master symbol and over 20 treatment symbols. The energy works on the emotional , spiritual levels and with karmic patterns and issues. You must be a trained Master in Usui Reiki first since this energy is advanced and moves quicker for faster healing, physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. Karuna® Reiki was developed and named by the International Center for Reiki Training. All teachers must be registered with the International Center for Reiki Training and agree to use the same symbols, attunements and class manual as used in their classes. After class you will have the option to register with the Centre for Reiki Training as a Karuna Reiki Master. This class is a very powerful healing class that offers more insight, love, and knowledge, to apply not only to ourselves, but to others. It is a very fast energy and most people have very profound wonderful changes occur after taking the class and receiving the attunements. Check for class dates ~ It will change your life!

About Your Reiki Teacher
Kerri Fargo B.A. RT-CRA is a certified Reiki Master Teacher in Usui, Gendai, Komyo and Karuna Reiki. She is a Registered Teacher with the Canadian Reiki Association and follows their ethics in practice and guidelines for teaching. As a mother of 3, she has had many years of experiencing the joy of Reiki with children.
She is also a Certified Holistic Healer, Axiatonal Re-Alignment Practitoner and Teacher, and Tibetan Yoga Instructor. Trained in many healing modalities, she offers a whole approach to healing. An empath that works intuitively often receiving insight into the emotional cause of the illness or imbalance. Using the abilities of clairvoyance, clairsentience and clairaudience, she often receives messages from angels, guides and spirits of loved ones who have crossed over. She has dedicated her life to helping others find their own unique path in this life, and to walk it with compassion and joy.
